Companies, especially larger ones, tend to have more than one business premises. For example Sainsburys has literally hundreds of shops all across the country. Each one is likely to be doing a very similar job, if not identical, to the other shops. This is the perfect environment for a pilot change over. We could just get a small handful of shops to run the new system while the rest rely on the old. That way if the system is faulty or there are problems then only a few shops will be effected.

This is an ideal model for any business which has many similar branches. It is not suitable for companies who have many premises but each one does something different.
